Simply teaching the Bible, simply

This verse-by-verse study of Mark 13:1-5 was taught by Pastor Barry Forder at our family service on 7th October 2018.

Two days before His crucifixion Jesus warned of deception that would come. Peter, Paul, John and Jude would all later go on to warn of powerful deception in the ‘last days’.

One of the greatest deceptions is to believe that you cannot be deceived, that somehow, you and I are beyond deception!  Peter said:

“Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness“. 2 Peter 3:17

In this study, we consider Jesus’ words to his disciples on the Mt of Olives where he foretold the details and events of the ‘end times’ and warned the disciples to ‘take heed!’ We also look at the incredible parallels with the prophet Jeremiah who lived at a time much like our own.
